Granny. Born in 1918 during the previous pandemic. Lost her mom to it 3 years later (no vaccines—lots of headstones 🪦 in hometown from that year & the next). She lived a transition from outhouses & coal furnace heat (if you were 😇💸) to her own iPhone. She left in 🍂 2019, just before this pandemic. Mindboggling witness.

17 小時內	Sharon Marie sharonmarie999	We had an outhouse and I was born in 1951. Depended on where you lived and financial situation. My FIL lived to 107. Born in 1909. He became an orchard farmer in E WA ST and used horse teams to do so. I would say he lived through more tech innovation than any GEn X person. I did for sure. There was no googling something. You had to go to a library to find a book on the subject to find any answer and it wasn't the latest so you would find publication that were. More investment of time.

To us he was the younger side as my father’s parents were Victorian, a whole generation removed really, they all saw so much change didn’t they? He and my Nanna (b1921) would have loved to see today’s technology and world….my Victorian suffragette grandma would too
