Apparently its not a button, read somewhere that its touch sensitive, and depending on how you interact with it, it does different things, such as press, swipe left, swipe right, up and down.

it’s wild to me because i never cared who used what phone. i have an iphone and always have and friends who’ve used androids would be like ‘HAHA UR PHONE SUCKS!!!!’ and i would just be like ???? it’s a phone. i use it to call and text and occasionally play games why are we’re turning this into a competition? but without fail the apple / android fanboys go feral on people lmao.
