I was in a restaurant in FL. I wanted a table for 1. The place was empty. They asked if I would rather sit at the bar. I was OK with it except the seats at the bar were very low. I felt like my chin could rest on the bar. I’m 5’3”. Went back to hostess and said the bar wasn’t working. They finally gave me a table. The waiter was very nice but two others including the hostess not so much. There were only 3 other tables filled when I left. I dine solo in NYC and never had a problem.
