Do you know where the anxiety is coming from?

Sharing my own experience in the hopes that it helps I'm 39 and about 9 months into my transition, I've been out full-time for about 6 months. I'm playing on hard mode because I'm not changing my name lol Anyway, so far I would say it's been about 50/50 on people misgendering me for the first time around, and on interviews that have gotten to Zoom call, it's usually been at least one person who looked a little surprised when they first logged in and saw me.
