Today when we were driving, I saw beautiful golden wild flowers on the side of the road. I stopped the car abruptly. My 11yo son says “What are we doing?” I said, “Get out and pick some of these beautiful flowers…just because.” When he got back in, I told him that when he’s older and has a girlfriend or a wife, to stop and pick the wildflowers he ever sees on the side of the road and take them to her…just because they’re beautiful and remind you of her. 💖littlethings
