A friend of mine called me pretentious because I questioned his suggestion to bring sushi from Erewhon (which makes Whole Foods seem like a discount grocery)…and my response was that if he ever had the sushi at Mitsuwa…or even a 7-eleven in Hawaii and still pay what they charge at Erewhon, he would know it’s not the quality of fish he’s paying for…
