I get hotels not doing daily room service but having to go to the front desk to ask for more toilet paper is just embarrassing. Travel Threads

You can call and ask for housekeeping to bring it up.

You know in Asia, hotels didn't quit cleaning your room daily. It's kind of an American thing ... can't believe folks accepted that. Isn't part of the joy of staying at a hotel the fact that someone else makes your bed every day?

I’d suggest using the phone instead, but that’d get messy.

I've actually started bringing an extra roll. Sometimes hotels literally put out one for a family room

The whole not doing daily service doesn't mean they shouldn't send someone around to check for necessities like towels, toilet paper & soap, I stayed at a place the other day that I was there a whole 4 days and the room was never cleaned on the 5th day when I went down & asked I was told they only clean upon request, oh & to add insult to injury they only had one extra roll of toilet paper, thank God I didn't _________ much ... anyways I guess the whole hospitality industry is going to the dogs
