The past few years of teaching, I’ve seen a steep decline in parents checking/emptying take home folders and reading my messages. Am I the problem? Or is this a growing trend in education?

However this year at back to school night I stressed repeatedly the importance that parents check folders daily and that students will bring home papers randomly and that I need parents help being involved and asking their students about what they bring home. They’ve been waaay better this year.
