Isn't a marathon just something like 3 hours of you're in decent shape? Doesn't sound long enough for a toilet break to be needed if you don't eat and drink a lot before. (For me a marathon would take at least 4 hours in total if I chop it up into 8-10 parts over a month or so, but I'm no runner.)

7 小時內	Klaas Dieleman klaasdieleman	Aside from the average time for an average runner being much longer than 3hrs (as explained by others) the main issue is the "don't eat and drink a lot before". To complete the marathon you'll need to eat some 3000 kcal extra and you need to drink quite a lot too (2 liters easily). This is hard (but necessary) during the run, so you try to fill up as much as possible before it. Starving and dehydrating yourself to save yourself a pee-break will cost a lot more time than you gain.
