Mmm certainly you’ll not, but it’s not that bad, even when it’s longer than I would have liked, it’s an easy read and the introductions of some new characters that will be mention in KoA

Yes. You will absolutely miss incredibly important plot points if you skip ToD that are relevant in KoA. I know ToD starts a little slow, but it is an absolutely gorgeous book that deserves time and attention. It's worth it!

Naaah, four years ago I skip it, and in KOA at first you will not understand names or creatures but for me was ok because I didn’t want to read, I just read a summary of TOD to not be lost
