All you childless pet parents. Who is going to help you navigate old age? I’m not sure the dog will be helpful. Seriously wondering.

You think all children take care of their parents?

Plan A to help myself as long as possible. Plan B is to rely more on my much younger husband. Plan C pay for care. Its pretty simple really.

There’s going to be a lot of disappointed parents when their kids dump them in nursing homes!

You think that your children are going to help you in your old age? You are most likely getting sent to a 'home' and forgotten about.

Relax, not having kids means plenty of savings to see one through. And friends are way better than family.

I would never put my child through what I’ve experienced with my surviving parent🤦♀️

dogs are extremely helpful. they make you leave the house and go for a walk three times a day. which contributes a lot to health, fitness and mobility. I don't know if you have noticed, but multigenerationsl households where children cared for the elderly parents have gone out of fashion.vdon't count on your children to care for you
