It's a challenge with purely abitrary parameters that are set around the Quran. We can take any poet and use his style and elements as the Gold standard for what needs to be matched to be Godlike. And any work attempted to take on the challenge would never be accepted as good enough, so it's a waste of time nobody's even going to try. If the Quran was from God, it should at least be impressive or captivating in translation. But it may be the most mindnumbing and incoherent book in history.
