I usually have buyers remorse for everything I buy now. And after a month or so it goes away.

I’ve bought guitars and regretted them, and sold them. Bought some various pieces of equipment that I didn’t love and sold it.

I rarely buy anything new. That way i can generally sell it for around what i paid for it.

Settling on a guitar or gear because it’s less expensive has always been my mistake. I end up selling it at a loss and getting what I wanted in first place.

There’s a “builder” in Vegas who scammed me. Said he could custom build something. He told me to play one of his guitars on the wall for the neck I liked. He ended up taking that guitar and refinished it, added a pickup. Come to find out it’s a kit guitar anyways

Zoom 3000S. Worst bit of kit ever (it even came with a headset mic for the vocoder effect). Part-exchanged it against a Line6 Flextone II 60W 1x12 with floorboard (long since gone!)

I was not impressed by the Dean acoustic/electric I bought in high school, so I bought a Jackson Kelly and sold it.

Yep, Jaydee Supernatural bass guitar (a la Mark King). It made a righteous noise but the fingerboard was like the flight deck of an aircraft carrier and I hated playing it. Sold it shortly afterwards.
