Battles don’t kill a music career. At least not in this era. BUT one of the most dangerous thing a rap battle can do to an artists, is make his fans look at them different. When that happens, there can be long lasting effects to the artists image and careeer. In this battle Kendrick succeeded at making everyone, even Drake fans, look at him just a little different. He’s not gonna be able to withstand this one. His ego matters too much. Not to mention, most of the damage is self inflicted .
