Life has been simpler since I hung up the camera, quit photography, and took a hiatus in most social media platforms. I'm enjoying it and my wallet is happier too. It has been difficult resisting the habit of conceptualizing images in my head, but I'm managing. A change I have finally begun to see is that nobody thinks of me as a photographer anymore and those who continue to stay in my life are invested in me as a person instead of an opportunity machine for photoshoots and stuff.
