Totally agree that hybrids with an electric range of up to 100 miles would be a far better future option than EVs only. A lot of the motoring public would be able to complete a weeks worth of short trips around their town on electric only. Still has the fallback of ICE for longer journeys. That fuel could be synthetic as well in the future with very low emissions. Best of both worlds and you could produce 4-6 of these to one fully EV battery wise.
