As a Sesame Street Generation 1.0 kid, nothing quite terrified and delighted me at the same time as James Earl Jones reciting the alphabet. Why terrifying? Watch him dramatically draw each letter out, taking his time to get there--which, of course, makes you want to jump in and say the letter before he does, which was pretty much the point. It's 90 seconds of absolute alphabetic suspense and joy. And here's to a life well lived.
