Maybe, just maybe, done listen to the so called fans and people who blurt shit out without having proof and listen to the people who actually make the decision. I am sure they had a long finding process and talks and shit before they came to an conclusion

The band I’m sure was aware of this, and I’m sure it was discussed between Mike, Emily, and band management because none of this is new, and management/PR would have vetted her ahead of joining the band. They all have signed off on it. There’s no replacement for Chester, and I have some sympathy for his son, but his son is not part of the band. I don’t think Emily will ever be able to make enough amends for these people to let it go, and the band probably expected push back.

It blows my mind that people rallied so hard for Chester and what he stood for yet can give this decision a pass like it’s no big deal. Suddenly it’s cool to look the other way. How hypocritical. IStandWithChester

Maybe they just thought, she is really good, and after meeting and recording with her they got to know her, and this is their way of supporting a band member. God knows a lot of the bands I've liked through the decades have had all sorts of issues. I like to give trust and support until its shown not to be wanted or warranted

LP, like every other band and artist hat sells records by the tens of millions is, at its core, a pop band. Emily was assigned to the band by the record label and the label failed to vet her fully, likely anticipating a backlash solely based on the fact she a woman. Any narrative that the band went on some long search and had heart to heart meetings with her is pure fiction created by the label.

I think she might be more of a victim of a creepy cult and not a active ”supporter”….
