Some of the streaming services have started adding bonus features

When I was a little bitty new adult I opted for dvds instead of internet. Watched all the commentary on the early Family Guy seasons. Fascinating stuff.

Three of my favourites: 1. Ben Affleck on the Armageddon commentary talking about how Bay told him to STU when asking him about the logistics of the movie. 2. Joel Schumacher apologizing for Batman & Robin over and over. 3. Bruce Campbell as Elvis criticizing Bruce Campbell's portrayal of Elvis in Bubba Ho Tep.

I love a good commentary

The Mummy (1999) was great. Lord of the Rings (4 commentary tracks per film), Tropic Thunder (he doesn't break character until he's done the DVD commentary), Robert Pattinson ripping into the Twilight movies are personal highlights for me.

This so much THIS

I've seen Ronin and Fight Club more times with director's commentaries than without, and I've seen them a bunch without. 😓 Also the "notes about nothing" subtitle track on the Seinfeld DVDs that functioned as a commentary was AWESOME.
