Beren and Luthien: part II. The man and the elf-king's daughter descend into hell and steal one jewel from the devil. In escaping, the man loses the jewel and his hand to a werewolf. A posse hunt down the werewolf and recover the jewel, but the man dies. The angels resurrect him, and he lives on with the elf-king's daughter, who becomes mortal. Their son is Elrond's grandfather. 2/3
