Sometimes we need to go back to basics. That's me right now, working on the basics of my bread again. Shoutout to @maniacalv who taught me that I can save incrementally in Blender, so I was able to revert back a few versions to where the bread texture was better than my later renders. Now that I see this on my second monitor (on threads) it looks pretty yellow. Gonna need to look into that.
