Had an endometrial biopsy 10 years ago, and nearly came up off the table when the doctor applied the tenaculum. The actual test was nothing, but that damned clamp was horrific. And the duck said “it would take longer for you to get numb than the entire procedure will take“. I said “I took 800 of Motrin before I left the house. Proceed.” It’s actually barbaric.  believe me, that would not fly if a man was getting something done like that.

I almost passed out during my iud insertion. 😳
