First thing I hear of the "migrants eating ducks" crap was from another volunteer here. My instant response was "cool. They need to eat. Maybe we can get them to help clear out some of the overpopulation of geese in some cities." Canada geese tend to congregate in cities because they know they will not be hunted there. That causes issues with so many of them wrapping everywhere. Denver had a culling a few years back and people lost their minds on both sides.
