A c-section requires them to cut through 7 layers of muscle and tissue. It's still painful and recovery sucks. I've never had a vaginal birth but I can say having a c-section was not fun either.

Women’s bodies are designed to give birth vaginally. Women’s bodies were not designed to have layers of skin, fat, muscle, and tissue cut open, organs moved aside and sewed up again. C-sections are necessary in their own right, but I haven’t known anyone who would choose one.

C-section is major surgery, expensive for whoever your care provider is and has its own risks. It’s not like going shopping for a birth method, it’s not even always available to you.

Try a C-section then come back!

lol a c section is major surgery and you are awake for it which is traumatic at least for me. Recovery was horrible and I could barely help with my own baby.

I refuse to get a c-section. I’m doing everything in my power to give birth the natural way. Your body is made to stretch, birth vaginally, than heal. It’s not made to have 8 layers of skin cut through, and the child peeled out from a gaping hole in your stomach. That shits terrifying.

C section is an surgery operation. Natural birth is way better for women, when possible of course.

I’ve had two home births with very little pain. C-sections are not pain free. They’re not the easy way out of giving birth…
