I’d say Disney, as well as comicbook artists Humberto Ramos and Joe Maduiera; my work is nowhere near as technically proficient, but how they pushed extreme lines and shapes had a big influence. Over here: @barkeegan_klay Aardman have a lot to answer for 😅

Naoko Takeuchi! So much of my time has been spent looking at her work and finding inspiration in it. Trying to emulate that fluttery ghostly quality. These days I've abandoned all form but I learned a lot about color and mood studying Naoko's work. I think I'll always be a little heavier and a bit more boyish and messy. But that's just me. I'll never really be like Naoko :p the middle image is the cover of H volume 1 drawn in 2017. The last image was done for fun just a couple weeks ago.
