I will say that many tv shows are becoming less and less available via physical media - mostly only show on streaming services. I’m a tv person and really hate having to find many newer shows are only available via digital download (and yes there are several).

People have been saying “DVD is on its way out the door” for more than a decade, but there’s still plenty of DVDs (and I think places like Walmart and Target have more DVD than Blu-Ray or Iktra 4K). They said physical media was on its way out the door and then Ultra 4K discs were introduced.

A ton of products aren’t getting physical releases, or if they do they’re bare-bones. And if you go to stores like Walmart or Target etc, there’s just one tiny shelf of releases. Certainly not a big section to browse like there used to be.

People think steaming is the only option. It's really becoming inconvenient! If you really love a movie or show and you NEVER wanna worry about not being able to see it/ share with friends then just buy it. You won't regret it and it'll always be right there on your shelf. I’ve lost my home internet so I’ve been collecting and watching loads of dvds, one thing I’ve noticed is the effort in the interactive menus. Some of them went so hard in the menu screen.
