During a recent photo walk I heard a sound that was unlike anything I've ever heard. As I approached Randolph and Clark Streets I saw this scene. A crew of construction workers literally shattering rows of glass on the former James R. Thompson State of Illinois Building which is undergoing a transformation into an HQ for Google's.
But back to that sound...it embodied the experience of every kid who ever wanted to throw a rock to break a window...times 1000! Truly remarkable. ChicagoThreads
