Help this autistic!! I’m seeing completely differently guidance on this and I genuinely need to know 😅 If you end your sentences with an exclaimantion point does it come off like shouting and being aggressive??? Because I was taught that a period can seem like you’re being rude! So now I’m unsure how to punctuate to insinuate tone 😩 ActuallyAutistic

15 分鐘內	soli poortomato	I view periods as normal and exclamation points as excited 😅 I'm tired of people thinking periods are rude when they literally just end a sentence. But I also use tone indicators or emojis to convey intent, etc. if I think there will be confusion/misunderstanding.

Though at this moment I can't think of a context where ! is screaming and not just emphasis. "Stop asking me that!" Is like "I'm serious about this" but not yelling.

一小時內	Ensatina ensatinacreates	if you end your final sentence in a paragraph with a ‘.’ it could be considered abrupt and rude, but if you have multiple sentences one after the other, please do use periods to separate them, not exclamations (unless they really do call for ‘!’)
