Weekend at mum's turned into 4 nights/5 days, due to her fainting and cutting her head in Sunday. It's been a bit mixed emotionally. She told someone I was her 'other kind of son' (she couldn't remember daughter. Then, she showed me her daughter's graduation pics and told me how clever her daughter was and how proud she was of her... then cried because she hadn't seen her daughter for ages and missed her. I'm the only daughter she's got. Alzheimer's is horrible.
