When the pensioners overwhelmingly voted for the Conservative Party in 2010, I lost some £1300 in EMA per academic year. Had to scrap the bus and walk 6-10 miles a day. Griping about £200? You’ll survive 💅

I feel a bit like this. I’m 64 and one of those women who have worked forever and the pension keeps getting further and further away. But I got a free university education and could buy a normal house without selling my firstborn child. I also relied on decent public services like libraries (remember them?) I want money invested in education and the NHS and directed to older people who really need it. And that’s not every older person!

Says a lot about you that you're fine with a government policy that even the government admits will kill about 4000 people

That is the point. Many won’t survive. Gov own figures say that 4000 will die this winter. But hey what do you care right. Get in the sea.
