Wish I had learned this sooner 🌺 My mom was raised during the Vietnam war, met my dad while he was stationed at the air base… I know he wasn’t her first love; but promises of returning were rarely kept. So, she married my dad while still having a place in her heart for someone else. Her first love came back for her years later; she was married and pregnant with my brother. I wonder what she would have done differently if she trusted her gut & believed in what’s possible.
