Tomorrow will be the 29th anniversary of @davidbowie's 1995 single, The Hearts Filthy Lesson. The whole Outside era remains my personal favourite; a period of free-flowing creativity, fusing art and narrative with industrial rock, electronica and jazz. I still remember getting the CD single on the day of release and listening to it for the first time. This was a brand new Bowie, back playing characters, and I'd never heard music like this before.
