I would sleep through them if not for our precious dogs. One of my earliest memories is of being carried to the ‘storm house’ by my mother who was watching the tornado coming towards us. I’ve seen tornadoes & hurricanes but those don’t hold a candle to California earthquakes. I guess because I didn’t grow up with mobile earth under my feet
