when the season first dropped I saw *several* videos of people ripping in to the season and one of the big complaints was editing continuity issues. the mirror scene in particular has several notable ones, but also small ones like the musicians playing at a tempo that doesn’t match at all with the music playing. it’s all a bit nitpicky but there is (some) validity in this type of criticism

Sammy mentioned the hair in the mirror scene too but I think some of those shots were actually the reflection of them so it would be opposite? Definitely edit problems on the "couch".

The location of the Mondriches change and aren’t consistent at the engagement party.

Eps 7 - Pen is putting her money in the floorboards at night, but the very next scene is her in the daytime in the same dress when she talks with Eloise who is reading the new Whistledown and based on dialogue it should be the same day it came out.

Not really an editing mistake but a funny little detail when Colin stripes where do his boots go because they were there and then they weren't like poof

What coat? If you're talking about the balloon scene it was on a crate behind a guy when the other lords came running. Anyway the most obvious one was at the queen's ball when Colin and Pen dance. In the background we see Debling standing alone watching them when in the previous clip and after he is dancing with Cressida. however there is a ton. The carriage scene, the dream sequence, the wedding when the queen interrupts. I am surprised of just how many there were in season 3.

It's a horrible habit I have whenever I watch a show/movie. I had an ex once tell me could we watch without picking it apart in every scene. It happens. Working in the industry makes me constantly look at continuity, editing etc. (And we won't even talk about the reshoots/pick ups)

In the interrupted dance with Debling (ep4), when Colin and Pen are dancing, Debling is supposed to be dancing with Cressida. But, if you watch when they’re on Pen and Colin, you can see Debling just standing on the side of the floor waiting to walk by them.

from when Colin tells off Lady F to the mirror scene, Penelope’s sleeves get looser around her arms - for obvious reason as the dress needs to slip off easily but i wonder if that was a forethought or if they got to the filming and then were like “let’s remove a pleat” 🤣
