I’ve been having the “are phones listening to you” for targeted ads debate with my girlfriend for a while now and she’s firmly on the: yes they are listening and it’s creepy… whilst I’m on the: no they are not listening, it’s technologically impossible currently and would absolutely devistate your phone’s battery. Targeted ads are much more complex functions of highly trained data sets all about you and everyone you know or interact with. Do you guys have any proof that is not anecdotal?
