Regarding my PS5 Pro reactions today, just want to be clear: - I said $700 will likely prove to be a fair price for the performance vs. PCs. (New "Pro" games need to show this) - Data suggest PS5 players want higher framerates ALONG with better graphics. (To be fair, we don't know if PS5 players are happy enough w/ current performance modes.) - I do NOT think PlayStation 5 Pro will compel most PS5 owners to upgrade. (Never said otherwise) - I do NOT think PS5 Pro will ever outsell the standard.

In summary, I'm glad PS5 Pro is seemingly a solid swing at existing tech that may suffice another 5 years for console gamers. Worse would be if they shortchanged us. Or not at all, as we've gotten with Nintendo Switch.

40 分鐘內	TyrantII _tyrantii	PS4 Pro was said to be only around 15% of PS4 sales. I can't imagine Sony expects this to do better than that at this price. I do wonder what they'll consider a success knowing that number.

I knew that the 30fps offered better image quality per frames but I always wanted more of them. The ps5 pro seems to be offering that. To achieve this on other platforms you're looking at $1k+. I can't justify that. I do hope the ps6 comes with a disk drive and stays @ $700 usd. I'm hoping it's just a hip and trendy thing they want to do to keep the size down. I wouldn't die on that hill tho
一小時內	Ben Hall ben96ninety_six	It'd be interesting to see adoption rate. Apparently the PS4/PS4 Pro split was 4:1 by the end of the gen. Don't think PS5 Pro will get anywhere near 20% of the install base. 10% maybe 15%. Guess it depends what Sony's expectation is.

I think it’s reasonable to imagine PS5 will stay within the same percentage so it’s a niche product, not designed to substitute the original PS5 like you said.
11 小時內	Lê Anh leanhjake	The fidelity mode on PS5 now looks stunning but is unplayable, mostly used for screenshots. So yeah, 300 more to play what developers give at 60fps is acceptable to me haha. People can buy the PS5 at a cheaper price when the Pro releases. Now, we wait for the 3rd party showcase of what Pro can do in the next few weeks.
