Evil? No. In most cases lazy and rude though. The person paid to collect the carts likely has other duties too, and their job is to collect them from the cart corrals. More importantly, carts left in the parking lot (1) block parking spaces and/or (2) pose a hazard when the wind or other forces cause them to roll into the driving paths or dent/scratch cars. Let’s not make this some “you’re supporting someone’s job” BS
