I saw it happen in stages (over the course of my life): a) Men started abdicating their spiritual role in the Church & at home b) a massive push culturally to over throw the idea that society should be dominated by men ( culture spills over into the Church ) c) even Bible translations started doing the job of the preacher [ who should be diving into the underlying Hebrew & Greek] to make verses more ‘inclusive’. d) this movement split several different ways.
