Something people need to understand is that if you’ve become born again, you’re no longer a slave to sin but a slave to righteousness (Romans 6:15-23). You need to understand that there is a new inner nature to you because the Son has set you free (John 8:36). This is extremely important to preach to yourself in your walk with Christ when you begin to doubt and condemn yourself. Jesus wants you to be assured of your salvation so you can be a faithful witness for His kingdom.
