Let's please stop the OZEMPIC (or WEGOVY) shaming. Imagine being a patient who decides NOT to take this medication because of the opinion of others, only to face preventable and life altering complications. Yes, it’s about weighing risk versus benefit and that is a discussion the patient and prescriber will need to have in deciding to move forward ( or not) with this or other therapeutic options. Nevertheless, regardless of bias, there are patients who have a real clinical need for it.
