Ukrainian sniper Vyacheslav Kovalskiy now holds the record for the longest confirmed sniper kill. Shot at a distance of 12,468 feet (3855 m), the bullet took about 9 seconds to reach its target. The shot was made with a sniper rifle known as "Horizon's Lord" (shown below)
