Today I discovered that I probably had Chappell Roan as a student when she was growing up in Willard, Missouri and I taught in the computer lab at the elementary school she attended. It's time like this that I wish my middle-aged memory was better; the many students who I had while in that position during an 8-year period more than a decade ago are mostly a blur in my mind!
