I agree $700 is a lot for a mid-gen console, but just getting an equivalent GPU would run you $900 (without the rest of the computer). The fact is game consoles are sold at a loss because they make it back on games and memberships. Anyone who already has a PS5 should wait for the PS6, anyone who gets a PS5 Pro should wait for the PS6 Pro. Simple as that.

Ad a dualsense edge controller to the ps5 pro and you’re looking at 900$, the disc tray and stand is 120$ so you’re all in for 1020$ and you can build a way better pc for that money.
