This year, I'll spend almost 3 months on the road. As I kid, I thought that work travel would be a super cool way of seeing the world! The reality tho: Book the cheapest long-haul flight; settle at the destination at the cheapest hotel; load your days with back-to-back meetings; and end the day eating your take-out meal in the hotel room, in silence, while catching up on hundreds of missed emails.
