As someone who stays home a lot, I can tell you that when I have felt alone, social media is the absolute worst place to run to. If you are feeling disheartened right now it is your sign to try something else. Or try chatting through comments on other peoples posts. That is how I’ve gained followers accidentally. I made a lot of friends on Meetup too. It’s local people with same interest in your area that do group meetups in public. It’s healthier than social media and I never regretted it.

Yes when I was younger I would just post everything I did and stopped using social media once life got hard and just came back to it in my 20’s. But Looking back I knew 1% of my following the rest were random people just watching me😭 a lot of younger girls and older men.
