We traveled from ABQ NM to NYC (layover in ATL) We had our dogs with us and their bags get specially scanned at security. When I got to NYC , I found this is my dog’s bag! I don’t know how my husband was carrying her and this around three airports. @tsa @abq.sunport @dhsgov

3 小時內	Dan scmodstyle	Did the empty carrier have to go thru an X-ray? I'm guessing maybe they put a heavy object inside to keep it on the conveyor and prevent it from getting snagged on the flaps that hang down at both ends of the machine

12 小時內	ashaaunti	tsa officer here… we use the “bricks” to weigh items down so they don’t get pulled out of the bins by the x-ray & to make sure the bin has enough weight. but i’m honestly shocked because my airport uses boxes filled with rice. i think the literal brick is counter intuitive but whatever i guess…
