Nitrile or latex, powder or powder free gloves

I get contact dermatitis from soap. I now use e45 emollient wash cream instead. It contains Chlorhexidine Digluconate so it still disinfects.

I have exczema all over my face and I’ve always used detol bar soap and vasaline on my skin. The westindians know that Detol is the truth !!!

My husband got horrible contact dermatitis when he was training to be a chef. He had to quit because his fingers would just crack and bleed. It still flares up sometimes. Maybe a more gentle soap and keeping your hands dry? He used to put on the cream and then wrap his hands in gauze.

The ONLY thing that has helped my itchy red patches is the Exzema Honey brand Lotion Stick. It’s a target and truly a miracle. It’s a decent size too, I’ve had mine for theee months now!

CBD rub or Bee Venom cream. Either will work miracles with time and patience.

I have dihydrotic eczema too. Flares up during stress for me. If I take allergy meds, and wear cotton gloves to bed with the topical steroids on - it heals up faster. ☺️ Hope that helps.

Watch TYPES of soap and of gloves. I would buy my own soap in the office because some absolutely triggered it. Hand sanitizers tend to as well. Also look for if you are more reactive to certain glove brands, whether it’s the powder in them or any chemical. Good luck. I know it can be very painful. Also, I have way way less since I gave up gluten, but I certainly don’t think gluten is innately bad. Just reminding that finding your triggers for allergy & inflammation and removing them will help.

Also a dyshydrotic excema person (I’ve had it so bad I couldn’t bend my first two fingers without them splitting OPEN, for MONTHS on end) Weirdly what fixed it was a rosemary based dry oil. No idea why and I put it on after over a year of AGONY. All gone GONE!!! In under a week. And I’ve never been able to find it again 😞😩😤😭

I was getting this too, also have autoimmune! I took it to be a contact allergy to the accelerant in black nitrile, I found when I switched to blue gloves for a bit it went away. It would tend to happen in the summer when my hands would get sweatier with heat
