If you're ever discouraged about your growth as a filmmaker (or any kind of creative), please look at your work last year compared to this year.. I promise there's a big improvement. If you don't see it at all, go practice your craft. You only grow from doing it and making mistakes. Stop comparing yourself to others and compare yourself to the old you (this is mostly a reminder for myself as I am guilty of constant comparison due to being on social media)
