Wednesday means weevil, so, Happy #weevilwednesday When you magnify a ~5 mm weevil, like this Otiorynchus sp., you see its maximum splendour, despite being a family of beetles quite hated especially in agriculture as many of the species are considered pests of one or more crops, these beetles present a great diversity and unique morphology that make them, without any doubt, one of my favourite families within the insect kingdom.
