🧵 23 years ago I was 17 years old, living in Adelaide, Australia. I was in bed for the evening reading a book when I heard the newsreader on my parents' bedroom TV say that a plane had hit the WTC. I got up and went into their room to watch for a few minutes before I headed back to bed and turned on my own TV to watch. I was absolutely horrified when United 175 came into frame and hit the South Tower.
